To experience Square is to get launched into the Milky Way aboard a flying carpet shared with pink elephants, white knights, dark horses and über sophisticates united in pursuit of a culinary experience just beyond the grasp of your imagination. Square restaurant invites guests to experience food & drinks in a new way. The chefs at Square Lab experiment with liquid nitrogen, helium and other elements to make your experience of food new and exciting. The idea is to combine fun with fine dining. Square is located at Hafnarstræti 20 4th floor in the Reykjavík 101 area, with a view over the harbour. The picturesque surroundings of the harbour gives Square the element of surprise as well as it sits like an illusion amongst its surroundings. Square impresses you with its modern and theatrical atmosphere.
The Square restaurant concept is to implement fun into fine dining. With LED lighting, wooden walls and gold fishes in half bowls you’re set in a theatrical and sophisticated atmosphere at the same time. The dining room, bar and other areas in Square are full of surprises.
