Golden Circle sightseeing in a self-drive super jeep + activity

This tour will take you off the beaten path to experience Iceland´s natural gems in the comfort of our 4x4 super jeep. Our first destination is the beautiful and historic Þingvellir area where Iceland´s first parliament “Alþingi”was established in 930 AD. Next, we take the trail behind the picturesque shield volcano Skjaldbreid, and after a two hours’ drive on tough trails and some river crossings we get back to normal roads again. Our next stop, Gullfoss, is Iceland´s best known waterfall;it cascades down 32 meters into the mighty glacial river Hvítá. After seeing Gullfoss up close we continue onwards for a short drive to the Geysir geothermal area. There we will eyewitness the spouting hot spring in all its power. Your activity will take place at some point during this adventurous day.
U-Drive Golden Circle with River Rafting (River Fun):
River rafting on Hvítáriver which is a beautiful river running through an amazing canyon, with fun rapids and a great optional cliff jump and glacier river swimming. Afterwards the showers and sauna are at hand.
U-Drive Golden Circle with Caving (Underworld):
Explore the hidden world under a lava field! On our way through the Gjábakkahellir lava tube you will see the marvels that volcanic activity has created in the past. This is a trip that everyone can undertake and enjoy.
U-Drive Golden Circle with Snorkeling (Into the Blue):
The crystal clear water in the deep Silfra fissure in Þingvellir National Park gives you a feeling of being weightless and flying as you glide along the narrow crack with the lazy current. The rugged underwater view of the lava field is something you will have to see to believe!
U-Drive Golden Circle with Snowmobiling (Glacier Ride):
A scenic and fun one-hour tour on Langjökull glacier, Iceland’s second biggest glacier. The glacier is covered with several enormous ice filled volcanic craters, rimmed in by imposing volcanoes and set in the breath-taking Icelandic interior giving you a quite staggering view.
