Rafting & ATV fun
We start with a full throttle ATV bike trip along the mountain hills of the Hellisheiði and Hengill Volcano, located just 25 minutes from Reykjavík. Racing through the lava fields is a truly exciting way to explore this lunar like landscape and the perfect way to kick start this adventurous day. After the ATV tour an authentic Icelandic lunch awaits in the classic Litla Kaffistofan road side diner, from which you will be picked up in one of our mini vans. Our route passes through a serene countryside dotted with farms and after an hour’s drive we arrive at the Drumbó river rafting base camp on the banks of Hvítá river. At Drumbó we will gear up in specially designed river rafting equipment and drive up the river in one of our famous buses. The river provides a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We raft for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. For those looking for extra action the option of white water canoeing is available.
